A Tale of Two Sisters

Goodpud's co-founders are sisters Polly & Sarah. Hailing from Yorkshire in the UK, they both love Good food, Good company and Good laughter. Sarah moved to Canada in 2016 with her career in media & film production while Polly has been working in product development & manufacturing in the UK food industry for over twenty five years.

Now a Canadian (yay!) Sarah made her home in Tillsonburg, straddling the foodie heavens of Oxford County & Norfolk County, Ontario. Knowing Polly wanted a change, Sarah lured her over one Thanksgiving and explained how she missed tasty little chocolate desserts she used to find back home. Having learned how to make them for friends and family in Canada because she couldn’t buy any, she knew how much joy (and blissful eye rolling) the little pots of deliciousness could bring. She floated the idea that a business bringing joy to the masses just might be what is needed at this point in history and proposed that their complementing skills and experience (plus bucketfuls of blind optimism and an unwavering dedication to excellent food and puddings) might just be a recipe for success.

Six months later GoodPud was born, and the following Thanksgiving we were selling GoodPuds at the Tillsonburg Farmers Market.

Just like a GoodPud, our company is small but mighty, but we’re growing - and hope to bring some GoodPud love to a town near you soon.
